Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. The girl was adopted when she was three by her maternal grandmother who was a slum dweller. Her adoptive parent is an American white who has military experience, while her mother is Filipino. She alleges that she, her adopted brother and their mother were abused when they were children, until she joined the military. Her family and she moved to Texas at the age of 13 due to her father needing bypass surgery. They spent a few months in San Francisco with her aunt. Though the physical violence stopped but she says that she experienced psychological violence from her father back in the her home. She became a part of in the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch began her TikTok page in April, 2020. Within less than eight months, she had amassed nearly 40 million followers. Her biggest success was the music video she created for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. The zoomed-in video of her moving her lips and jumping to the melody made the rounds and was one of TikTok's most popular video clips of all time. After she became a member of TikTok and began to gain fame she launched her own YouTube channel, as well as a Twitter account. Poarch's rising fame peaked in November, 2020. According to reports that she was the subject of two professional Esports team's attention. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves were interested in hiring her to create content for their respective brands.
